Join us for the next semester of Life Together, our all-ages program.
All are warmly invited to our midweek program called Life Together. Life Together has programs for all ages; this is a great opportunity to gather every Thursday evening at the school for fellowship over a shared meal, plus breakout studies for adults and youth, Bible time and memorization challenges for the kids, a nursery for the little ones, and doing life together regardless of your age or stage of life. Come and be encouraged, challenged and spiritually fed! If you're looking for a smaller setting to connect with others during the week and grow in your faith, this is the perfect time to see what Life Together is all about.
Potluck Dinner & Fellowship at the school: 5:30-6:15pm
Breakout Programs at the church: 6:15-7:30pm
Our fall semester runs September 24-November 12.
Adult Studies
This fall, we'll be offering three different adult breakout studies for you to choose from; if you're unable to make it to the potlucks, you're welcome to join us for just the study at the church from 6:15-7:30pm.
Men's Study - Authority
In this compelling study from 9Marks, author Jonathan Leeman shows that authority, done biblically, is not only good but essential to human flourishing. Through Scripture and many first-hand stories, he presents 5 attributes of positive authority and warns against sinfulness that corrupts leadership. Led by Pastor Keith, all men are welcome to join us for this study. For those who like to read, you can purchase your book here on Amazon. For those who don't like to read, you can purchase the condensed version here on Amazon.
No registration is required for this study; if you have any questions, just talk to Pastor Keith.
Women's Study - Even Better than Eden
Led by Marianne Gleed and Heather Laing, this study will be an exploration of biblical theology, involving a bird's eye view of various themes that run through scripture. We'll use the book by that title by Nancy Guthrie, as well as the accompanying Bible study (which will be provided). While homework is involved and expected, all women are welcome to join us each week as we discuss a different theme.
Please fill out the form below to sign up for this study, or you can add your name to the sign-up sheet at the back table on Sundays. If you have any questions, just talk to Heather or Marianne.
The cost of the book that we'll provide on the first night of the study will be $15; you can e-transfer to give@redeemercity.org (make sure to write in the memo line that it's for the study), or bring your cash on the first night of Life Together.
Women's Study - Everyday Theology
Theology is the study of God, what He has done, is doing, and will do in the world. And it’s not just for those with formal education or those who work at your church. It’s for you in your everyday moments, questions, and decisions. It’s for the big and little, the exciting and mundane. Our theology is the basis of our faith and touches every part of our existence.
Using the book 'Everyday Theology: What You Believe Matters' by Mary Wiley, we'll explore eight essential doctrines of the faith: Scripture, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, humanity, salvation, the church, and the end times to understand how the foundations of your faith matter in everyday life. Led by Wendy Stanley and Sarah Peysar, this study is designed especially for women who are new believers or curious about what it means to follow Christ.
Please fill out the form below to sign up for this study (limited to eight participants), or you can add your name to the sign-up sheet at the back table on Sundays. If you have any questions, you can connect with Wendy or Sarah.
The cost of the book that we'll provide on the first night of the study will be $15; you can e-transfer to give@redeemercity.org (make sure to write in the memo line that it's for the study), or bring your cash on the first night of Life Together.
