Thursdays, 6:00-7:15pm at the Orillia Christian School, in October & November
All are welcome to our new midweek program launching this fall, called Life Together at Redeemer. This program has something for EVERYONE of all ages; we’d love for you to join us. This will be a wonderful time to gather for fellowship and studies, for Bible storytelling, worship and testimonies, and doing life together regardless of your age or stage of life.
We will have kids and youth programs, and the nursery will be open to little ones also. For men’s and women’s ministries, we will alternate each week: having a women’s study one week while the men participate with their kids in the kids’ programs, and then having the men’s study the following week while women participate with their the kids’ programs. Adults who don’t have younger kids can volunteer in other areas on the alternate weeks their study isn’t on, or just sit and fellowship with families in the gym for the main kids’ program.
We also want to focus on intergenerational relationship building with our church family, and would love to see all ages coming out to fellowship with one another, getting to know one another and being fed from the Word of God.
Environments in Life Together:
Nursery (Nursery Room) - for ages 0-3, our screened volunteers will spend a fun evening with your little ones.
Kid's Program (Gym) - for grades JK-Grade 6, the kids will have a fun time of worship and storytelling in the gym. Kids will sit with their parents or a screened volunteer during the program. Dads can sit with their kids one week while moms are in a study, and moms can sit with their kids the alternating week, when the men's study is on.
Jr. / Sr. High (Upper floor Chapel) - for grades 7-10, Jr. and Sr. High Youth will enjoy a lesson each week with their volunteer leaders.
Young Adults - for grades 11-12, students are welcome to join our Men's and Women's studies (see details below).
Women's Study (Art Room) - all women are welcome to attend this study that runs alternating weeks. This study will feature various testimonies and is facilitated by Amanda denBok. On the alternating weeks where the women's study isn't running, women can either volunteer in the other environments, or sit with their children in the gym for the kids' program.
Men's Study (Art Room) - all men are welcome to attend this study that runs alternating weeks. This study will feature various testimonies and is facilitated by Pastor Levi denBok. On the alternating weeks where the men's study isn't running, men can either volunteer in the other environments, or sit with their children in the gym for the kids' program.
Thank you SO much to all who have already volunteered to serve in our various environments as we get ready for Life Together to start in October.
At this point in time, we are only in need of volunteers to serve in the nursery. If you are able to and would like to serve in the nursery (alternating weeks for those who are participating in the Men's/Women's studies), Jil would love to hear from you. You can contact her here. If you aren't yet screened to be a volunteer with us yet, we'd love to hear from you too! Jil can help you through the volunteer screening process we have in place here at Redeemer and plug you in to the right place to serve.

What Does Life Together at Redeemer Look Like?
The program starts at 6:00pm on Thursdays for the months of October and November. Everyone can check in at the front doors of the school after they have registered online to attend (please register each week).
Once you've checked in, you can head straight to your environment for your program/study. Please note the alternating dates for the women's and men's studies. On the nights your study isn't running, you can head either to the environment you are volunteering in, or you can sit with your children in the gym for the kids' program. We'll also have lots of room in the gym for adults with no younger kids and who aren't volunteering, to join in and sit with other families in the gym - to have a time of fellowship, to get to know other families, and do life together.
Each environment will wrap up at 7pm, and we'll all meet together in the gym for a closing time of worship and prayer. The evening ends at 7:15pm.
We will be abiding by all COVID protocols as set out by the province. This currently includes mandatory masks indoors, social distancing with those not in your social bubble, and registrations for attendance tracking. As always, please screen for symptoms and stay home if you aren't feeling well.
