Monday, January 27-Sunday, February 2
Based on Pastor Levi's Sunday, January 26th sermon on Prayer & Forgiveness, we'd like to encourage you all to join us for a special focus on prayer this week at Redeemer. Our third core value as a church states:
We deeply believe that prayer connects us to God’s purpose, peace and power for life and ministry.
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.” - Psalm 145:18-19
We deeply believe that there is power in prayer! This week, January 27-February 2, we'd like to encourage you to do three things:
1. You can pick up a Prayer Week bookmark this Sunday in the gym, and pray through the Lord's Prayer petitions listed on it each day this week. Or, you can pray through these petitions below.
2. We'd love to invite you to several prayer groups meeting throughout this week as we faithfully lift up the cares and praises of our congregation, our community, our country, and the world. Details are below; we hope you'll join us.
3. We are privileged to be able to pray for each other - we invite you to share your prayer request, and our church family will lift you up in prayer request this week. You can submit your requests anytime here; if you prefer to keep your prayer request confidential, just indicate that on the form and it will only be shared with our elders.
If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Keith.

The Lord’s Prayer
Prayer Week (JANUARY 27-FEBRUARY 02,2025)
- Hallowed be Thy name – Pray that we would LONG for God to receive all the love, all the praise, all the obedience, and all the honour that He deserves.
- Thy kingdom come – Pray that men, women, boys and girls would be brought out of spiritual bondage and that they would be set free to live and obey to the glory of God! Pray for conversion, baptism, growth in holiness, and unity in the church.
- Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven – Pray that we would be obedient to His commands, and that we want to be shaped by His desires. We want to live in a world where people take their marching orders from Jesus and not the world.
- Give us this day our daily bread - Pray that we are reminded daily that we all are dependent creatures and that we would wage war daily with our self-sufficiency and our self-absorption. Pray for our brothers and sisters across the world to be given their daily bread.
- Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us – Pray that God would cultivate a heart that knows that we have been forgiven a debt that can’t be paid back and we that we must extend that forgiveness to others.
- Lead us not into temptation – Pray that we would lift your gaze up past our own personal temptations and to see the spiritual battle that our brothers and sisters face and to pray for them as well.
- Deliver us from evil - Ask daily for deliverance from our own evil desires and for spiritual protection from the evil one for the global church.
