How do I disciple my child? This is a question with urgency. Parenting is one of the most difficult, rewarding and confounding endeavours most of us will ever undertake. In addition to feeding, clothing and sheltering our children, as parents we have important responsibilities in educating our children, caring for their social development and bringing them up in the faith.
A recent national research project (ParentingFaith.ca) presents some interesting findings that can help us navigate our role as parents in the faith formation of our children.
Join John Friesen, chair of the research partnership, for a conversation around key findings of the research and how parents might more effectively engage with their children based on these findings. All are welcome and encouraged to join us for this evening!
