We were designed by God to be givers – not takers. Our time, our talent, our treasure – everything that we have and everything that we are – is meant to overflow in blessing to the world around us. Philippians 4:14-20
We are a blessed people, and we believe that God has blessed us so that the blessing might overflow to others. One of the ways that we ‘overflow’ is through our giving. Mark 12:41-44
In this section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus is focusing on how we can live righteously without succumbing to pride and hypocrisy. Today, we are going to zoom in on the first lesson which focuses on our giving. Matthew 6:1-4
Biblical giving is about our vision of and response to who God really is! IT IS ABOUT WORSHIP! 1 Chronicles 29:10-20
And in our text this morning, we get a snapshot of the early Church persevering and thriving as they met the challenges that came their way. Acts: 4:32-37
The topic of giving can be a tense conversation in the Church because our money and possessions often have a way of fighting for the attention we give to God and His Kingdom. Most of the time, parting with material wealth and possessions is hard work. Today’s message is from Leviticus 27:26-30.
