Our beatitude todays flows out of the first three, namely being poor in spirit, mourning over sin, and becoming meek. This creates a hunger and thirst for doing things God’s way. Matthew 5:6

There is the path to righteousness and life, and the path to wickedness and death. Psalm 1 describes the nature of the path of righteousness and the benefits that are gained by following this path as well as the curses that will come from rejecting this path and following the path to wickedness. Psalm 1

This morning’s text declares that knowledge of the CROSS is POWER! Not only is it power, but it is freedom! It is comfort! It is joy! It is peace! When you understand THIS, everything changes!  Romans 3:21-26
